New OC. She's probably not going to have a plot for a long time. But I love her anyway. Story of my life. XD
PS: I figured out how to use my scanner.
PPS: Pay no attention to the random scribbles and extremely large space above her head. Just full-size it and you should be fine.

Hello!
I love the colors on this piece, they contrast against each other really well. And she seems to have a cute personality, a wide smile with cute freckles and hair to accent and round her face. My advice to really kick your drawing up to the next level would be to ad more contrast (I know people mentioned shading and light sources to you, if you go with that and make sure there is a variety of deep darks and lighter light colors they will stand out more). Doing that will help make your character come more to life. And I know people mentioned anatomy, and we all struggle with it, but I would suggest practicing it some more, working on proportions and bends. I'd play around with posing as well when practicing anatomy, it'll make the image much more lively. And finally I would add a bit of a background, just so it doesn't look like she is "floating" on the page - I admit that I tend to to do this too, but backgrounds really help.
((As a side note, the large extra space should be able to be cropped out when you scan the image or with a program that is automatically on computers, I crop some of my drawings in paint. Just a thought for future reference.))
